Tried once again to start playing and discover the game.... immediately regrets it

Hi all, so first of all ! No, this is not an angry rant see this more as a call for help.

That’s not the first time i tried to play the game, in fact some of the bug/crashes i had are still existing from my last try…

To sum up, i have finally decided to try and lvl up my account to at least 5 so i could have a minimum experience with the game and make a first judgment.

And sadly what happen for me is an accumulation of errors and glitches stewed with some weird gameplay decision that force me to “bail out” one more time.

So far these are the prob i encountered :

-The old bitdefender sign up blocking error and the two missing random files that disappear because of it.
Again that one is not new and it took me 6hrs of research on steam help forums and on this forum to discover the origin of this problem. I suppose you can guess how much motivation i had to play after that.

-That one on the other hand is quite new, alt tabbing or simply casually quitting the game force my windows desktop to reinitialize… you can imagine how funny it is to search such trivial things like Skype nor chrome everytime i pause or quit the game…
I suppose it is just a resolution problem that can be corrected via the in-game option… but like the first one this problem does not motivate me at all, i don’t want to spend my time resetting everytime i finish playing.

-Execution mode…a mode for beginner Wut ??? So let me get this strait… newcomers like me who need to learn how the maps are, how our weapons from our 3 merc starter work, how our settings are working properly (yes… even after trying them in training room…you cannot stress test everything in it) have to literally not suck in firefight not getting lost in a brand new world in order to support our lvl 5 or higher fellow teammates how needs every help they can get in a game mode with one respawn per round or translated “a no mistakes allowed” game mode. What on earth were you thinking splash damage ?

And again… even with all these problem i still want to try the game and have at least… at least the decency to play a few hours before judging… But i can’t… i don’t want to play with having to repair/reset/stresstest everytime i try to log in… no one does.

I know that post will barely changes anything…well the bitdefender logging error still exist and these post about it in the tech support are prob 6 month old now.
But i really wish to give this game a try… i mean people in this forum are nice… people i played in the first match are calm (like strangely calm when you see what happen in any game with a chat)… the gameplay looks nice.
But please please help.
I’m not alone with these kind of problem and that’s just heartbreaking to know that whatever happens it’s impossible to at least start experiencing with the game.

Only read part of it, but one thing you can do is open console once your error appears and type in ‘Restartlevel’ just without the " ’ ". If that doesn’t work restart internet, computer, etc. Then try again and if it appears try once more with the ‘Restartlevel’. And do it multiple times. And if it still doesn’t work, run Steam as admin. If it continues, then turn off your anti-virus, then try again. One last thing I can see is that you can re-add it to the Firewall, or your anti-virus, by deleting it, and restarting up DB and clicking yes, or allow to let it use your connection.

Next point: You know, there are maximum level 5 servers out there. Try them.

Can’t im blocked at execution only mode till lvl 3 whixh pretty much mean 2 or 3 beating till i am allowed to play anything else and that’s the prob

Windows 10 but it has to do with bitdefender and it’s a old and normally known incompatibility… still not flushed out.

@Servooo The level limit is ONLY for quick join. You can use the server browser to join any game in progress you want. They use the same servers for quick join and server browser.

If it only happens with bitdefender then I guess I don’t understand how much SD can do about it. Seems like an issue that can’t be helped much in this case. Obviously I don’t know the full situation on that issue or what is triggering it.

When you are in windowed borderless mode the game acts like it is fullscreen but you can alt tab more easily without minimizing the game. Works great for dual monitors as well.

The main prob with bitdefender is the fact that he refuse two files from the game (plus his AC plus anything else the steam installation load on your PC ) to load on your PC and also refuse the identification process when connecting to the nexon acc.

So in a way you are absolutely right. SD cannot do anything for it because it’s potentially a prob with nexon or the AC like any software with youth default and the way they do their identification process… sadly i don’t even think reaching them via ticket myself will help in this case… i already had a similar prob with the forum identification process not displaying correctly and ended up with a sry can’t help and search by myself once again.

So my best bet is to ask you instead if these kind of problem are actually known by nexon because it seems they are not aware of that.

Many games have problems with exscessive tabbing. Even new ones like Fallout 4. I always set all my games to borderless windowed.
