i have tryd every thing md3 fix and all.
my tree models wont seem to work i think it has some thing to do with shader bud .
not sure i lookt into the shader models_mapobjects and this is wath i find.

I’ve seen your questions before here in the forums.
I haven’t had problems to add trees (exactly palms).

How do you add the trees?

I’ve choosen the palms by:

  • right clicking
  • misc_model (or misc_gamemodel)
  • choose a tree or palm out of the “models/mapobjects/tree_desert_sd/newpalm.md3”

If you see only a white cube then you have to edit the path to the model in the entity window (erase all efore the above given path).

Then the tree should be ingame.
No seperate texture/shader is needed.

i do the same bud some how my shader goth changed dunno how.

I’ve the same shader as you.
Just try to unpack the pak0.pk3 again.

Very strange.

Have you edited the models?

nope i never edit models shaders .
im a noob with models haha.
bud textures shaders i find easy to deal with.
i reinstalld every thing bud still i cant find it .
it has some thing to do with the alpa function i think not sure .
saw a thread with some one having the same prob .
