Tree Map Leaks

I have some uneven terrain, so I am putting the trees a bit down into it (no, it isn’t shallow - no tree goes through the floor), it consists of a func_model for the tree, a wood clip down the trunk for the realistic sound and a weapon clip to stop nades and bullets…this is creating a leak.

Does anybody have an ideas as to how to solve the leak problem?

I changed the ground underneath it to func_static, that solves it but the problem is that spectators can fly through it - that is no good the ground is too uneven to make it shallow enough as not to allow spectators to end up in the floor looking at caulk. I’m hoping for a simple solution, this seems to be an odd problem.

change the terrain to detail brushs

To be completely honest, I thought I already had all the terrain as a detail brush. Thanks for the quick response!
