Hello everyone,
As you may or may not have seen recently, we’re making a bit of a push at the moment to improve the quality of localisation in Dirty Bomb. As part of this push, we would love to hear from the multi-lingual members of our community what they think about the current translations in DB. We’re not looking for specific instances in this thread, rather, we want your overall opinion on the quality of the translation.
If you are a multi-lingual Merc puppeteer, we would absolutely love if you could help us out by answering the following 5 questions:
[ul]
[li]Which Language(s) other than English are you using to play the game.[/li][li]What do you think of the overall quality of the translations? [/li]
[li][]Excellent, Good, Average or Poor?[/li][/ul]
[li]How clear is the text. Is it easy to understand? [/li][ul]
[li][]Is the translated text correct, clear and the appropriate words used consistently through-out the game?[/li][/ul]
[li]Context[/li][ul]
[li][]Is the language specific translated text correctly localized e.g. when text can’t just be translated from English directly or ‘as is’[/li][/ul]
[li]Formal and non-formal tone (familiar) consistency [/li][ul]
[li][]Is the formal/non-formal (familiar) tone being correctly applied and consistently used?[/li][/ul]
Any and all feedback is very much appreciated! Thank you for your time, and thanks for helping us to improve DB!
