Illegal ,bah, someone send me the decompile map, and they can sue my arse 
I’ve spent a few hours the past week trying to recreate mp_tram the actual buildings are ok but i’m crap at terrain and so far have stumbled at getting the terrain right 
Anyone willing to help please contact me. ( although making mp_tram from the beginning sounds better i aint bothered either way i just want mp_tram), like netbanger said my last months on rtcw where dominated by tram, day and night, infact the only time i didnt play tram was in scrims due to the fps/lag issue.
Like i said in a previous post i reinstalled rtcw , went back to tram the other day and its still the same crew there, pappa, lips, jesus, chopper etc etc…
Well, if you do an entire .map yourself as a rip-off of tram, its not illegal… that should be kept in mind too…
One thing I don’t think most of you realize is that if you use q3map2 to decompile a map, you lose all detail and structural information. Everything gets decompiled as structural. Therefore, the map has lost all optimization information, and if you try to turn it into a bsp again, you’ll probably get a bunch of errors during the vis stage.
You could go through and manually change brushes into detail again, but that coupled with retexturing every surface (because the texture alignment is lost) would be an immense task that most map hackers wouldn’t have the patience for.
