Trainyard - impossible to plant c4 in carriage

Video tells the whole story.
0:02 I can plant the c4.
0:11 They defuse the c4.
0:14 My teammate is trying to plant the c4, but they kill him before it’s planted. I think this may be important - this was the last moment we could normally plant it.
0:19 I’m in the carriage, but there is no message saying “Press [F] to plant”. Nevertheless I’m clicking the damn F over and over again and absolutely nothing happens. We can’t plant the c4, neither me nor my teammates.

I’ve had something similar to this. I was in ranked and we were attacking first. We manged to get to the carriage but it didn’t even give us the option to plant. In this video you at least can push the button to make it happen but in my scenario there wasn’t even an option. When they were on attackers they lucked out and were able to plant but we were able to stop them and make a draw.

Unfortunately when I screencapped my computer did not get it correctly. But regardless it said in the top left to destroy the blockage carrier yet there was no option to plant.

Ok, so thanks to your comment we know that:

  • it also happens in ranked,
  • the fact that my teammate was killed when planting and only after that we lost the option to plant may not be the issue here, if your team couldn’t plant from the beginning.

I don’t know if this was fixed persay but there are always improvements going in - I just wanted to make sure it was still happening in this new build. I’ve been unable to reproduce this issue myself.

I actually played on Trainyard a couple days ago and found it was impossible to plant the C4 on the first objective :confused:
