Trading loadouts down to lower rarities?

Since you can trade up loadouts to higher rarities, why not implement a system which allows you to trade down loadouts as well? I just got a gold Aura loadout which I doubt I’ll ever use and it just feels like a bit of waste to have it just sit there. That’s why I thought that you should be able to trade down loadouts to lower rarities.

In my opinion the system shouldn’t be just a reverse of the trading up one because that would allow it to be abused, for example people trading loadouts up and when they don’t get a loadout they wanted, just trade back down and up again. In my opinion a good system would be something like this; trading down a loadout would get you 2 random loadouts of the lower rarity. For example trading down my gold Aura loadout would get me 2 random silver loadouts. Cobalt loadouts shouldn’t be able to be traded down though because you can’t make them by trading up.

That way every loadout card you get would be useful. You wouldn’t have random gold loadouts for Mercs you don’t even own just sitting there and you would get more loadouts for the Mercs you do own and play.

PS. I don’t know if this idea has been suggested and/or shot down before, I just felt like I should bring this up.

Well hopefully we’ll have a way to get rid of unwanted gold cards soon :slight_smile:

Unwanted gold cards? Hehe, make a trash system so that players can throw them away and let them immediately go into my inventory. :smiley:

Well, by that she means they will be able to be traded up to Cobalt most likely. Personally I want the Hearthstone disenchant system.

Yes please we need this. Tho this idea has been put forward, pretty much in exactly the same wording, right here on the forums like 10 times already over the last many months.
