Trading in unwanted event cards.

Have event cards building up. Non of them which I want to play as I already have better gold/cobalt.
I like the look of the cards, but don’t need them sitting around in my inventory.
It doesn’t even need to be balanced, maybe 3 event cards trading to 1 new like event even trading down to cobalt.

If this were implemented they wouldnt trade down to cobalt. Cobalts are far more rare than event (cobalt is 1/1000, event is 1/100)

No Cobalts aren’t more rare. Cobalts are always accessible, you can trade-up to them or easily get them from Elite cases. Event cards are only available for a short period of time, and even if they have a higher chance to drop from a case, are far, far more rare then Cobalts.
To the initial question: Pretty much unlikely. People asked this after CW, the question was mostly ignored. People asked during WtD, this was mostly ignored. People asked before ReV, yes we have no official confirmation, nor a denial.

I’m still standing by what I said. I’m currently level 35 and I dont have a single cobalt or gold (you could argue this is just my bad luck, and I wouldn’t disagree with you by any means). However if I were to trade-down, with a 3:1 ratio, my event cards to cobalts, I would have 7 or 8 cobalts. To get that many is equivalent to opening (in theory) 8000 cases.

Furthermore, with the current Rogue En Vogue event, if this were implemented now, people could farm cobalts, as I’m aware of people already having 20+ event cards. Implementing this would only make cobalts seem less rare. There should be a distinct line between the generic card system, and Event cards, and this line shouldn’t be crossed.

Trading in event cards, on the other hand, i’m all for.

I’d totally want to see trade in feature for event cards…so that you would get a reroll opportunity and could get rid of unwanted cards.

For the part where you can craft cobalts and other things from event cards I disagree with that.

@Cam It still does not matter if single people have many Suspect cards. After the event is over, noone will be able to get any until trading comes out. While everyone can get Cobalts. The rarity isn’t determined by the actual amount of the cards, but their availability.
The BETA fighters were 100% cases. By your logic they’re less rare than Cobalts because they had 100% while Cobalts are 0.1%
An even if it would be by the sheer amount, Cobalt is much less rare, since people have much more Cobalts than they have Suspects. Sniff alone shows that.
