trading economics?

(ASTOUNDINGSHELL) #1

So if Splash damage adds trading, which i cosnider would be awsome.
how much would each card be worth?
so far this is what consideration, time and more Math than a drug convention.
Heres how i see how much would be worth eahc card

lead-why would you even try tob uy one? just…WHY!!!-1000credits WHY!?
iron-better than lead worst than bronze- 3500
bronze-has 3 perks and bad skins, but does the job- i know the game offers them at 17,500 but i would sell em at 12,000.
Silver-i woudl range them around 22,000 not many buy silver cards and if htey are worth mroe than a merc it would discourage buying em.
Gold-OMG MUM GET THE CAMERA!-yeah…this ones range on the 40k credits… t s expensive to make em even if you dont buy a single case.
Cobalt- <<, >>, >_<, what em I doign with my money at this point?- if by GABENS sake am to sell thsi…i would have to seel em arond 150k credits…I dont think anyone would sell a cobalt anyway. i am sure I wouldnt do so…

Are we talking about trading or selling?

(ASTOUNDINGSHELL) #3

@gg2ez
both

Lead, iron, and bronze would be significantly cheaper. And cobalts would probably sell for 75-100k since you can buy normal cases and trade up to a cobalt for about 100k. And since there isn’t a way for cobalt loadout cards to leave the market, the supply would increase over time causing it to get cheaper everyday.

This is coming from a fairly old thread at this point. Might help the discussion.

Not sure who you are asking, but I will use the same math I used above.

Pretending you buy 100 Elite Cases at $350

Three possible tiers of rarity. $116.67 value per tier.

5 Cobalt = $23.33 Each
15 Gold = $7.78 Each
80 Silver = $1.46 Each

Pretending you buy 100 Elite Cases at $500(DON’T DO THIS!!!)

166.67 value per tier.

5 Cobalt = $33.34
15 Gold = $11.11
80 Silver = $2.08

If we combine this information with the supposed credit values from above we can determine a relative value.

1 Cobalt = 166,667 Credits
4 Gold = 41,667 Credits Each
15 Silver = 11,111 Credits Each
30 Bronze = 5,556 Credits Each
150 Iron = 1,111 Credits Each
800 Lead = 208 Credits Each

Based on Nexon’s math 5,000 credits = $1

Cobalt = $23.33 = 116,650 credits
Cobalt = $33.34 = 166,700 credits

Gold = $7.78 = 38,900 credits
Gold = $11.11= 55,550 credits

Silver = $1.46 = 7,300 credits
Silver = $2.08 = 10,400 credits

Shockingly the value based on the $5 cases is quite close to the credit value I determined them to have based on 1,000 normal cases.

P.S. 1,000,000 credits = $200. This means $350 of Elite Cases, in a perfect world, should generate 1,750,000 credits worth of loadouts.[/quote]

@Ardez Much apricated

A bit of my post got hidden due to the default quote hiding so I will include it here.

Loadout value based on 1,000 credits per normal case.
1 Cobalt = 166,667 Credits
4 Gold = 41,667 Credits Each
15 Silver = 11,111 Credits Each
30 Bronze = 5,556 Credits Each
150 Iron = 1,111 Credits Each
800 Lead = 208 Credits Each
