Trading cards using Steam trading mechanism

(gloomyRequirement) #1

When?

probably never. There might be trading loadout cards in-game later down the line, but never this… It would be terrible, since now steam has that holding system in place unless you have authenticated with your phone…

Probably never. Nexon will only lose money.

Trading loadout cards is exactly what i’m pointing at…

If trading were to be a thing, I would like it to stick to in-game only, not interfering with steam.

The problem with steam is that it might attract the wrong kind of crowd to DB. Trading cards itself is not a bad thing, and the intent of using the market place is not bad. However, based on csgo and tf2, it becomes more of a place filled with scammers, inflated prices, and people that don’t actually play the game and would probably camp servers and stuff, diminishing available rooms for people that actually want to play DB. They could always implement a system whereby after gaining x amount of time with maybe 6 mercs each, it allows trading, otherwise the free-for-all would commence and may drag the community down.
