Trading Cards To Players?

(Sir Rexman) #1

So I heard they were working on it, I don’t know if this is true tho ;-; But if it is, is there even an ETA on it? like maybe n
“Next Major Update” kinda ETA, Also Will it require both candidates to put a card in atleast to trade, or could you do a one way trade? (might wanna give a card to a friend) Also will there be a credit cost per trade, or per rarity of the item (aka tax per rarity)? Could someone just bring me up to date on this system and whether or not it is even remotely coming or not. Thank you in advance (づ✧ω✧)づ

maybe in* I cant edit the question ⎝T╭╮T⎠

No ETA for you but Trading is something that’s receiving some attention.

Kinda sucks seeing as I feel it would truly help the RNG aspect of the game to be lessened.

RNG is what makes each card you get exclusive.
Not everybody can get a guarantee to get it.

Well, I’d like to see trades here…
Like loadouts / credits. I guess many long time players are sitting on the thousands of credits, with no way to spend them (except equipment cases - 0.0000001% chance to get cobalt with right mods on the merc u want  , or expensive trade ups.). And then there are newbies which can be lucky and obtain cobalt. It will be fair if they can sell them to oldschoolers, because they will have an easier way to unlock mercenaries.
Oldschoolers - happy, newbies - happy and I guess it will not hurt devs, so devs - happy.
Everybody Happy, and thats what we want, right?

what cards will i be able to trade?

I don’t know But I’d assume Silver and above, bronze and below would be pointless

True, and I know 2nd gen loadouts have eased the pain of a loadout you that you didn’t want in the first place, but what if you’re like me, and cant stand certain guns, for example I hate the driess, and the PDP as 2 examples, but every aimee card and kira card I get them, and its a massive turn off to actually grinding to cobalt fro a card that will probably just make you flip your table. (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻

But it provides an alternative to the people with S**t RNG

Also Obsidians are going to be untradable

That seems reasonable, I neva really wanted any Obsidian skin tbh, I Assume event skins will be tradable no?

(KUST__LunarTM) #12

I doubt event skins will be tradeable. They’re kind of like a proof of purchase, you know? I never attended the What The Dickens event, but it seems like it would be unfair to have a ton of those cards without putting any effort towards cards that are considered to be rarer than cobalt.

(Sir Rexman) #13

Yh I guess so, I just Know I got a tonne of suspect loadouts that I wouldn’t mind exchanging for other cards xD

(Glot) #14

trading usual cards doesnt make a lot of sense (not saying no sense at all) - everyone can get them anytime via tradeup.
But trading event cards is another story - this will have both request and offer.

Idk like I said some people have terrible luck, and dont like certain weapons, so trading could be an alternative for them (and me - I hate you PDP aimeee D:< and Driess Kira T^T)

but there is nothing in usual cards that you cannot get with some time or money.
every single cobalt is measured in time or $$$

but trading your event skin with shitty (from you point of view) loudout for a better loadout is something that i can clearly see as a usual thing.

I’m not saying event trading should or shouldn’t be allowed if anything I’m all for it. I’m Just saying there are reasons for people who would want to trade for normal colbalts as well (or gold or silver - Maybe they prefer a certain camo). And yes had to include the “(from you point of view)” , and I don’t see anyway this advances the topic, if any. But there are the best cards and the worst no matter how much you try and balance the cards to an equal level.

P.s I just dont see the reason for this aggressive remark about my opinion.
