Trade up contract idea.

(Cyanide) #1

Example ::

  • I want to trade up to a Iron
  • You need 3 leads to do so
  • I have 2 leads and 1 iron
  • I am not able to trade up yet because I only have 2 Leads, but I have 1 Iron
  • (The Idea ) Let us use 2 leads and 1 iron to trade up to the 1 iron we want to use

Or can we down grade our higher cards to gives us lower cards - like split 1 iron into 3 leads?

If not, using 2 leads and 1 iron to = a Iron you actually want to use wouldn’t be a bad idea.

I think the cards and what to do with them is prolly eating up most of the meetings atm

word, i think this would be a half way decent idea though, i mean it can’t hurt, yah it would be dumb to use a gold to trade to an iron, but if its a class you want to use hell

I hope they bring back the way the cards looked before. They were appealing. Now everything is ugly.

Card splitting would lead to people trading higher cards back into 3 lower ones and forth into a high card again, until they get the augments and weps that they want.

A short form of what I would like to see:

  • More attractive card design, and a theme which communicates that Bronze is actually the OMGOP tier and silver/gold are super rare cosmetics (e.g. Common -> Rare -> Epic -> Silver Epic -> Golden Epic)

  • More attractive cosmetic rewards (unclear how that could be done, but so far I can’t say that I really notice the differences).

  • A crafting system ala Hearthstone. Destroy any card for material, use material to craft any card you want. With (much) lower rates than the current trade ups, that would still solve the major issues with the current system IMO. E.g. it could require three Leads to craft one Lead of your choice. At least ten Leads to craft one Iron, etc.

I’m split on this. The actual merc portraits looked better on the old cards, but the overall layout and presentation of the new cards is better. The old ones were seriously plain and boring. So I say keep the layout but redo the goofy portraits.
