Trade Cards Please!

I just opened an elite case. I got a cobalt Sparks. Which is really cool but I do not use this character so she will just sit there. If trading was in the game it would be amazing as then you could trade cards to get the Merc you want.
I have no idea why this would not be a good idea.

It’s an idea we’ve heard a lot. Definitely a good one! I believe the Devs are discussing it.

There’s a problem for abuse. A person could make multiple accounts, play enough to get the early level up bonuses, and buy a lot of cases with that. Then they would trade all of the cards they had obtained to the main account and go from there.

Also, I don’t want chat ingame with “TRADING COBALT ARTY” spammed every 5 seconds.

@Backuplight Well the more people want it the more likely the developers would consider it. So I would love to see 1000 forum posts saying add being able to trade cards.

Wrong. At least your logic of there being 1000 threads about something. If it were correct i could create 1000 alias accounts and get anything i wanted. Sadly this is just not how it works. The sooner the people spamming this stuff arrive at that happy realization the better.

tho this thread title is Trade Cards Please! so its just “trading” not necessarily “steam trading”.

GOOD: Trading high tier card back to the game for reduced lower tier cards is good
BAD: Trading cards between players and on steam is bad

Pretty much what Rule says, not to mention that just because 1000 people want something vocally, there are still thousands upon thousands of other non-forum going players that a dev has to consider. The simple “enough people want it, it’ll happen” argument isn’t really true. The developers will add it if it aligns with their goals for the game. Something like trading, steam or otherwise, will have a direct impact on their revenue.

Well I would be happy as well if they did that as then my Cobalt is not doing anything. Then I could actually do something with it.

Thing is, Who would buy Elite cases if u can buy Cobalt cardsfrom people

What i would like tho, If they make a system to trade your card for another RANDOM card with the same rarity, Theres a twist, You can only trade the same card once a week. So if you have 3 cobalts and 2 golds u can Trade each one of them for another RANDOM card (same rarity) each week.

+Opening Cases give you a bigger thrill for example on another game where you buy cases to open skins. You can just buy the skin on the market but everyone mostly buys cases.

a bigger thrill… Yeah cause buying a silver (with the exact stats u want) for 2 euro will be better than buying that elite case and yeah i believe silvers and golds will be less than 5 euro, Simply because theres alot F2P players that just get them from the free loadout cases or they just trade up and sell them to get money.

There should be a way of getting rid of unwanted loadout cards and get something back for it. I would be happy to trade my Cobalt Rhino for a Gold one of my own choice.

as long as u can trade a bronze for a bronze and a cobalt for a cobalt and maybe have a little fee (500 credits) ill be fine with this

trading as in steam trading wont be very economically wise for the devs, as rare as cobalts may be, they will drop in price because that’s how steam market works in general (especially since cobalt cards are obtainable, not something like a very rare doritos hat that no longer drops anymore)

I’ve said before, there should be a way to trade cards in game, not in community, as in give your cobalt to recieve X number of golds or to sacrifice X cobalts to make a cobalt of your choice.

It should be hard to achieve, so that everyone wouldn’t end up having all cobalt loadouts in a day :expressionless: (e.g 4 cobalts to get a cobalt of your choice and such)

Well, it’s no companion agent.
It has no good medic traits to it.
Sorry, but your cobalt luck could not have been worse.
On the bright side, you have my favorite primary weapon.

Sparks is personally my favorite merc to play <3
(In the hands of a decent player, she becomes ungodly :P)
