and ur just trolling now hahaNot really. Not doing things that are known to rile others up would go a long way in reducing toxicity.
Sadly in many respects Dirty Bomb is toxic by design. Bronze players are matched with Cobalts in ranked, level 3 players have to face level 100+ players in casual, it’s possible to have 3 Vassili but no medic in team, it’s possible to have 6 or more Javelins, there’s an invisible merc that spread toxics taunts with keyboard shortcuts and so on.
First off, trolling is saying you’re quitting the game yet expecting us to care about the so called toxicity you shouldn’t be facing anymore @OP.
Teflon, I really love you saying that, I realize the only times I even start to get “toxic” in game is when crap like that happens. That’s why on the forums I’m a decent guy, rofl.
Toxicity
Just be toxic.
I’m a toxic Proxy and I try to make every person a toxic being.
If you are “mature” then you don’t give a shit about a single toxic kid.
If they cursed you then you do the same or just /IGNORE them.
Is a Internet (online)Game so wtf do you expect ?
If you want to reply to them just use the vast knowledge of humanity and say STFU then /IGNORE

Tbh I doubt anyone posts anything for points here. If we did we’d have a hell of a lot more “delet phantom” threads and other popular opinion based stuff.
But as it is, points here really don’t mean anything

As i’m sure you know, this game has a rather toxic community (some games have it worse though so ._.). Idk why everyone thinks it’s necessary to spam NOOB VASILLI on forums, and rather childish stuff on others. Even in some games (before I uninstalled of course) there were some salty people. Whether it be because of the game or other people, its rather unnecessary, so here’s my question…How can we fix it?
hey, i thought youre quitting DB?
why are you still here?

screenshot your in-game profile for proof that you never play vasilli
we’re not trolling, we’re irritated to have a community member like you.
It’s lowkey a lil sad how childish you are, also, the forums isn’t the actual game now is it?
pendejo…

probably nearly every forum member who cant take counter argument or a joke immediately make “Hurr toxicity, Toxic Forum, Toxic Player Base” thread/discussion and the rest of forum members who had been here probably since the start of DB have to fuggen listen to you?!listen here ye wankah,
L I S T E N
you dont come here and ask crap to change, NO.
how do you like it if someone just barge into your room and demand that your bed, wardrobe, PC, table thrown out and let 5 hobos in because that guy WHO YOU DONT KNOW, WHO YOU JUST MET asked you to make changes to your room for reason you dont understand?
you kids dont get taught ethics or something?
THIS IS why people reacts negatively to youwhat you should do is pretty fuggen simple.
you come here ask why some crap are this or that way!
you fuggen ask why this is this way, why that merc feels like this, why this weapon feels like this because there are reason behind all of that. There is a reason why Phantom is crap
There is a reason why Aimee hitbox is fuggen small
There is a reason why Aura health station is tanky
There is a reason why the goddamn noobs are so keen on picking vasilli as their first merc
There is a reason why Javelin is Weaker compared to other fire support
There is a reason why Proxy pancake is not OP
There is a reason why the community is Ded
There is a reason why the shotguns act this wayALL YOU HAD TO DO IS ASK “WHY?!”
NOT WHINE OR RANT OR TELL PEOPLE THAT DB SUCKS
WHEN THERE IS SOMETHING CRAPPY ABOUT THE GAME, WE WHINE TOGETHER.
WE DONT WHINE THINGS THAT ARE NOT WRONG IN THE FIRST PLACE.
I didn’t force changes, and I made reasons and explanations on why things should be changed, so your analogy actually is inaccurate and ignorant. Also, a joke or 2 is fine, but the game AND the forums have some toxic people, and you using all caps kinda leans to toxic as well. Also i played for about 2 years before I left so I think I have enough game time to call out a simple problem…

Tbh you CAN ignore them in game, but in the forums it’s rather childish to have 32 toxic comments on a structured topic. Also that’s a rather stupid thought process, lets have 96 children running around with knives and being reckless, if your mature just let them be…

You I admit, are rather ignorant. If you leave dirtybomb your gonna call out its problems. I don’t face them anymore because i dont play anymore… If you leave a country you’ll have a reason, typically a lack of something or a problem. Your not gonna just throw the error out the window cuz your somewhere else, once again a shitty example provided by this wonderful community ;p

You’re missing their point. They might not have used the best wording, but it still stands regardless.
We like DB for a reason. Yeah, it has its problems, but it also has a lot of great aspects, the reasons we’re all here. Asking “what if something were like this” is fine, encouraged in fact. But when you post an angry rant that’s more toxic than most of the other people here combined, you can’t blame them for interpreting it as “this is how it needs to be, shut up”
Experience doesn’t necessarily mean understanding either. What it boils down to is, most of your “reasons and explanations on why things should be changed” were pretty much the exact opposite of what the community wants in general. Now, that alone isn’t bad, but it does give off the vibe that you don’t really appreciate how DB works and what it stands for, and that you don’t seem to understand how to use or counter certain attributes, and instead call for them to be nerfed.
But as I said, that’s really not much of a bad thing. You’re free to think what you will. In our eyes, we might be confused why you’re here when you hate most people’s reasons for playing in the first place, but whatever.
The problem is that you didn’t word it as a suggestion, you worded it to sound as if you were saying “hi, I’m new here. This is how things need to be done now. Don’t like it? fuck you”, hence the “rearranging your furniture without knowing why we like that TV in the corner” analogy.
So no, TL;DR, please don’t post threads complaining about “toxicity” when your toxic rant is the reason this is happening in the first place, and don’t call people “ignorant” just because you cut out the meat of someone’s argument, focused on one point that doesn’t make sense out of context and didn’t understand what they were trying to say.
If you want DB to be less toxic, stop being toxic yourself.

So I’m right on time
There’s already 2 or 3 topics about community toxicity. Maybe you should browse or search the forums first before starting a new (totally not angerbait nope not at all) thread about it
Here’s one, for example
And another
Stop making bait posts and then calling everyone stupid ignorant pendejo carajo ебал твою мать сука it doesn’t help at all

Wow… Look, I’d probably be the first to admit I don’t know everything when it comes to that. That’s not the issue here, the issue is that what I said still stands: I wouldn’t go back to Mexico and tell them what’s wrong with them and rub it in their face. They know they’ve got a drug problem, asking them how to fix it from America does nothing unless you ADD to the discussion. But instead you basically come off like this to me: “I left Mexico because ya’ll toxic. Ya gonna fix it?” Like… wtf do you expect from that?
Look, you need to stop making threads that we’ve already made and you NEED to stop calling people names, stupid, and being saracstic. That does nothing except feed disgust and MORE toxicity. If anything, you’re part of the problem of toxicity! I would also disagree with you, I’m far from ignorant of salt and toxicity levels in DB as I was one of the main people who talked quite a bit about toxicity probably a month or so back when SD made some of the more controversial changes to snipers, machine pistols, Sparks, and several other changes. The fact is that toxicity is often threefold:
- Playerbase Maturity
- Developer Feedback and Delivery
- Game Developmental Stages/Progress
AKA “morale ties into update progress with community reflection, but is also sometimes impacted by the flat out (im)maturity of a community.” This is why CS:GO and OW have toxicity problems, not because of lack of developer feedback etc, but because their community are just full of kids and haters. But you take a look at PoE community, and you usually have a really solid community. Same with FFBE. WHEN there are problems, each of those communities appear as toxic, but it’s actually a tool for developers to know when they’ve fudged up.
From my own personal viewpoint: Dirty Bomb usually suffers from occasional lackluster developmental feedback, and often poor community asked for updates and changes. We might have a playerbase maturity problem here and there as we increase in size over the years, or some players have a bad day or really bad matches several matches in a row.
My point I was making to you here is that you quit the game, made a big rant post about it, and if you actually wanted to FIX toxicity you’d be doing something other than recreating threads that we’ve already discussed this in, and you’d certainly be acting better in how you approach the idea.
Finally… some of your “toxic” things that you outlined in your post many of us disagree with. There’s a difference between recognizing a stereotype or a problem, versus seeing it as toxic. Most of the veterans on these forums don’t call people noob vassilis or complain the same way that people similar to you do. You see us when we reference or talk about noob Vaseline’s as being toxic and putting them down, usually that’s a classification of a crap teammate. In fact, MOST of us would LOVE having a great Vassili on our team. It’s just that 90% or more of the people who PLAY Vassili in DB don’t play him well, don’t throw heartbeat sensors, and have an accuracy when sniping of below 20%. We’ve come to sort of just expect these issues, and we know there’s no real thing we can do change this. They’ve already raised the prices of Vassili, they’ve already explained that DB is a fast paced game. We just gotta wait for the people to get past a certain level range and stop using Vass.

People can be toxic regardless of what game they play. It’s up to you to decide what to do from there.

Death before dishonor. Part of the fine wording in DB’s terms of agreement.
