Hey all :wink:
I’m trying to complete this achiev and i’ve completed all the campaign quests in hard mode but the last 2 of Security side.
So i’d try to complete it in Online Versus mode, how can i select it?

Select Campaign. Then you will have the options Hard and Versus. Select Versus. Hard will also work and people do join in to help you.

Not to be confused with Freeplay. Freeplay is separate.

Yeah, about this… is there a way to find out which maps you’ve already played in Versus mode? Or finished on Hard? Either? I really can’t be bothered maintaining a list. :confused:

Do you get completed in online versus, even if there isn’t anyone joining the other side?

Online versus is humans vs bots. Not humans vs humans. :wink:

Really? I learn new things everyday! I’m never able to select Coop mode, only Campaign on solo, private or public. And when I play public, I’m not able to change teams. :frowning:

i’ve looked for Versus mode but i can’t find it.
I’ve selected—> Compaign, Hard but i can’t really find Versus…i only see coop mode.

Yeah. I can only see Co-op under campaign too.
Can this not be done in Freeplay -> Versus? That’s the on;y place I can find Versus (PC version).

No it can NOT be done in Freeplay.
Go to Campaign and select it. Then go to difficulty and select Hard. In the menu you can also choose Versus. This is what is meant by Versus.

Thanks. I’ll look for versus there. I think I was looking under “solo/private/public” for versus.
:slight_smile: only 4 more cheevos to go (although at least one of those requires me to level up my 3rd char first :P)

Satchel Charge?

Yes and no.
Got an engineer at 20 with some soldier skills, an operative at 13 and a low level medic.
While I haven’t donw the Satchel Charge I do have the ability to do it. Just haven’t gotten around to it.
I need to get my medic up a few levels for the supply one and I still need cortex bomb on my operative :eek:
Oh well… more playtime required :wink: That’s not a bad thing.

I can only select Public, Private, Solo and the difficoulty level Easy, Normal, Hard…where is Versus?

Ok. Like you said, once you get Cortex bomb there’s no doubt you’ll use it! Good luck just keep at it. Once you do you can join the 1000/1000 Club, brother. Lol.

i trust you on the info but that is nuts, because everyone who would join you couldn’t get the achievment either, where would they come from if not freeplay?

thank god i don’t give a damn about achievments but they should have spend a little more time on how they work.

Yeah. I’m not too concerned about hunting down the cheevos. I just noticed I was close the other day. As long as I’m having fun I’ll keep playing :wink: Hopefully at some point that’ll include those last few cheevos.

you select public, after which it will say VERSUS OR CO-OP?? (below in a box just look for it and press a and it will let you change it)

jeez,umm you cant select hard if you go to public, versus isnt a solo game its online PVP

I cant select co-op to change it.
I select public -> it doesn’t ask co-op or versus but I can see it says “co-op” a couple of lines down but it’s immutable.
Look at the image below, notice how the option is greyed out:
