Total noob question about doors

Right ok i know this is prob very simple but everyone has to start somewhere.

When I make a door that I want to rotate around a hinge I use func_door_rotating but this seems to rotate about an invisible point how do I get it to keep touching the wall?

I read somewhere about an origin brush or sumthing has that sumthing to do with it? How do I get that?

yep the origin brush is the key. this tutorial is for RTCW but i think its basically the same for ET

If you have’t got an origin brush included in your entity the door will rotate around the 0,0,0 point.
