But the campaign mode from QW doesn’t really feel fair to me (gameplay wise). You only play at one side per round while the game is asymmetric so stopwatch is more suitable. The “campaign mode” (switching maps after round) fit types like CTF because both teams has the same goals (defending and attacking).
Top 4 areas to improve
Usually you put an impair number of maps to change side each map pool rotation in obj mode, so you can stick on a server and play the map on the both sides. People like this in pub cause a map is suppose to run around 15 or 20 min, then you change map, not 5 min of game on each map like it is now …
Considered making a post in ages again
They should make the maps like they did on ET. Those maps fit for 5v5 and 24v24, which is awesome. They did it before, why not now?
I’m not back here to point out ET is better, but to point out that you can also develop maps for a less populated server and a populated server. Settings could be editted with mapscripts.
Something I’d really like to see
But the campaign mode from QW doesn’t really feel fair to me (gameplay wise).
With those enormous maps, players generally dont want to have to run through them twice.
But I agree, that certain things about the game itself weren’t fair, faction wise.

Can’t believe someone really brought this up again…[/QUOTE]
Layouts may be similar but some of the most important objectives didn’t transfer well because of poor placement/execution and spawn point placements :[
