There is honestly too many yellow/black skins we’ve got. Earlier we’ve had a problem with too much red/black (Humble Bundle, Ranked S2, Obsidians, Rogue en Vogue). Would be nice if the art team did more unique color combinations.
(Here’s my collection of special edition cards, sorted by color)

Honestly I want more meme skins like WTD. They’re not exactly realistic as they are, so might as well go all the way. Pink barbie skins and such

WTD skins were beautiful though. Unfortunately I only managed to snag 3 or 4, better than some people I guess. The Grandeur looks great, nicely carved wood, really matches the gun in my opinion. Would be cool to see more skins like that- ones that appear to be built into the gun rather than just pasted on top? If that makes any sense lol

Yeah, a better use of normal maps would help a lot too. Toying around with speculatiry could help too, more stuff like cobalt fragment, or even just CW, which had a yellow glossiness over its base texture.
The only problem with using normal maps or specularity maps is that it might not exactly fit with DB’s art style. Everything in DB is typically very flat. For example, if you have a very realistic gun skin like this:

then it might feel a bit out of place, not only compared to the environment, but to other skins even. Although of course, SD has gotten around this before. For example, bamboo gold:

that still looks somewhat cartoony to fit in with DB
