game had like a 6.5k peak or so before the weekend, now reaching over 13k as of today Monday. Does near 8k reviews mean most of the noobs who tried it for a few hours on the weekend all did a review?
Too many Steam Reviews?
You can write a review on Steam after playing the game for 5 minutes.
TBF “a few hours” is enough to write a first impression review considering some AAA games last like 8 hours these days. Steam reviews are just “Would you recommend this game to your friends Y/N?” and don’t need to be too insightful or based on anything else than your opinions.
Good example being a negative review on Steam: “Too bullet spongy for me”. He didn’t enjoy the game and thus doesn’t recommend it to his friends.
Pretty unfair to tell others not to play the game simply because he didnt like it. I try to tell people to play it and judge for themselves unless is a horribly laggy and full of bugs game. This one is neither so I wrote good review.

I used to be all about fast TTK and while this game keeps a fast TTK in ways, headshots, shotguns, so on, it is still a lot more of a bullet sponge type game than I was used to.
However after getting over that initial learning curve for me it has made me truly appreciate this style of game. I think others would too if they gave it enough time to adapt.

I personally think being able to take more than 3 bodyshots from a SMG is essential in game that is about objective control.
As with all competitive games, they get better the more you play and the matches become more balanced (in terms of team comps. 5x Vassili is no longer considered “omg so op tactic”).
Main point being that the game doesn’t have to be technically bad in order to receive a “negative review”. It just means the player didn’t enjoy it. F2P games in general will get a large amount of reviews, because you don’t really lose anything by trying them out.
don’t forget some people will make multiple accounts just to get their trolly points across!
Steam reviews are utter rubbish. Stay away from them at all costs. They could be contagious.
Help me doc… I think I’ve caught… reviewitis. proceeds to type negative review about the wait time to see the doctor
I don’t see the problem there are nearly 8k reviews now.
And the overall rating is “mostly positive” thats a good thing. Also skimming through some of the negative reviews, it seems that most actually have positive things to say about the game itself. The complains mostly mirror the ones on this forum (spawncamping / teambalance / server problems / merc pricing / hakcking ).

actually main problem i see is:
‘cant launch the bloody game’
which is just XIGNCODE at its best.
