Tons of Hacks on YouTube :-(

(Lakuta5) #1

Hi!

On our Server I experienced a LOT of strange things and I was wondering if there is already stuff out like Aimbots, Wallhack and so on. Surfing YouTube brought up not only one but a a couple of Hacks for BRINK. :frowning:

Well, so my Dream of a hack free Game is destroyed again.

But why the Hell would someone use a aimbot or hack in a game where K/D is irrelevant?!

And my next Question goes out to the Developers: I guess (hope) you are aware of those things going on. Are you on to that Problem and/or are you planning to bring up a more effective Anti-Cheat- Solution or does the community has to live with such kind of things in BRINK also?

Regards…

Jan

What are you experiencing? I’m a long time FPS player, I know what I’m looking for, I’ve never seen anyone clearly hacking in Brink…

There is no such thing as a ā€œhack-freeā€ game… and I doubt their ever will be.

I hope the dev’s don’t waste their time on this and concentrate on the rest of the game, just leave the AC up to VAC and good admins.

(Spec mode would be nice though :))

This will never ever happen under any circumstances. Never. Ever.

Every game will have hacks and cheats and the more they try to stop it the more interesting it will be to hack it. Which means more hacks will come out for it.

This. I play almost every day and have not encountered any cheaters thus far.

And as the others have said, no game is hack-free.

I think the point is, it’s hard to see anyone ā€˜clearly hacking’ in Brink without 1st person spectating. I’ve had my fare share of suspicious games, but without a way of clearly seeing from the players POV, nothing is obvious in Brink.

If they are hacking it’s really not affecting me

I’ve never understood why people invest the time and effort involved in hacking a game…

You pay money for a game, which you then hack, rendering it extremely easy, repetitve and completely lacking in skill-curve or challenge? What’s the point in that?

They can only achieve a tingle in their pants if they make others suffer.

Well if you guys see a heavy jump 5 times as high as a light can then you’ll know you’ve seen it.
