Just noticed after the Sparks update that I have to hold the button when planting/defusing/repairing now. And I can’t find the button to turn it back on again? Was it removed? Why?

I’ve always had to hold it. It’s in the game’s implementation, there won’t be a toggle for it.

No there was a button in the options to toggle holding. I’ve played with it for 100 hours and now it’s gone.

Ah okay.
The devs probably removed it to ‘balance’ gameplay. Holding it makes it to where you have to quickly swap over and shoot someone if you’re being attacked rather than looking over and just shooting. It just makes the game more difficult I guess.

Kinda weird not to include it in the patchnotes if that was the case. IMO it doesn’t really seem to be something that gives you an edge. To me it feels more like a quality-of-life kinda thing.
