I want to buy 3 copies as soon as the game is out for my 2 boys and myself. I was going to get the DOOM (gamestop) pack, and my 2 sons want the Spec Ops (walmart) and the Psycho (amazon.com) packs.
The problem is I want my BRINK the day it comes out (pre-orders dont ship until the 10th). How do I get a bonus pack as soon as the games hit the shops?
On the same note, walmart shows the game as unavailable for pre-order ATM. :eek:
I’m assuming it’s going to be on a console, so I would go to the midnight release (assuming they have one) and pick it up then. The preorder items are usually just IN the box, so even if you go there the day of release it’s not like you won’t get one. I dunno what to tell you about the psycho pack being there on release day. If I were you, and to avoid them fighting, get them the same pack (aka Spec Ops) so there isn’t “But I wanted the Psycho pack!”
No def not consoles for this geezer, the boys will be playing PC too. I suspect that your right about the packs being available even if you don’t pre-order, but I’d like some confirmation on that. The youngest boy wants the psycho pack and is willing to wait for it to ship, so thats not an issue. The gamestop pre-order page says its not available for in-store pick up when I load it in my cart. I called my local gamestop and they said I might be able to get the codes for the pack if I go to the store tomorrow and pre-order it directly from them. I don’t even want to go to my local warmart and ask, and waste my time with that run-around.
afaik, the preorder codes can be used together so you’ll have all 3 for all your machines
You pre-order earlier than two days before the release date. My pre-order copies are already en route.

Are you against steam? Because you can get the spec ops pack there too. Just pre-order and preload now… As for Gamestop you can either go to the store and pre-order and pick it up Tuesday morning or you can pre-order the digital download version and get your key soon as they release them.

Had the same problem dude, the case seems to be that WalMart uses an arbitrary pre-ordering system where you have to purchase a “pre-order card” (not unlike a gift card). And wouldn’t you know it? Most locations recieved the ACTUAL COPIES OF THE GAME, but never the pre-order cards.
After talking to 10 different sales reps, scouring the internet for answers, etc, I came to the conclusion that you’ll have to physically show up at walmart on launch day to pick up your copies.
Word on the street is, the Bonus-Content is in the actual game case, by way of a redeemable code. I hope you’re lucky enough to snag a copy. Unless you happen to be one of the lucky ones who is near a 24-hour WalMart, in which case, your store may be one of the few who is accommodating a midnight-launch of the game (Not the case for me, unfortunately).
I’m in the same boat as you; I’ll be patiently waiting outside at 7AM (after a stop at Tim Horton’s, of course).

Dammit Nail, I missed your post and got all 3 pre-ordered at Gamestop. Oh well I like DOOM, the boys will have cake, and I GET THE PIE!
