you don’t really need to make your map square…it’s a makes a few things faster but it’s not a big deal. Most maps that are not outdoors are just the shape of the map (take a look at the goldrush map). If you have extra space in your map just fill it with terrain or water or trees or buildings.

For models to show up in radiant you need first of all the model extension (.md3 or .ase) to be lowercase. When you import your model into radiant press ‘N’ then from the model directory delete everything before the model directory starting with ET main. If i haven’t mentioned this already you models need to be inside of etmain (preferably inside the models directory to keep things organized).

So say your model directory is

C:/Program Files/Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory/etmain/models/mymodel.md3
with the slashes the way i have them. then in the entity window it should be just models/mymodel.md3
and there you go

OK now im confused Im talking about my map is supposed to be small and you go though it very easy its just a destroy enemy’s objects, so what do i do to make the outside(which is unreachable not show up on the command map?

Also i cant get my tracemap to be made for my map so i can make a command map!

Hm, not sure. Maybe alter the mincoords and maxcoords?

Why did you make extra terrain if you’re not going to use it…just erase those brushes…I’m not sure what the problem is
