i have a street and want to light all house walls in this street around the player.
The elevation of the q3map_sunExt is still 90°
But some walls get not enough light cause of the angle which always points to one direction.
Is there any chance to light all walls without ‘bounce’ or entitylights in the street?

uhm… whould’nt it look unrealistic with all those walls lit? i suggest you soften up those shadows using point lights with a low value. and i really recommend you to compile your map using radiosity light.

hmm ok
im pleased with a low ambient light
bouncescale 2 doesnt make it light enough for me
and point lights destroy the natural shadows of the Penumbra style

do a search on “q3map_skylight”. It’s designed to help out in situations such as these to get a more natural outdoor lighting.
