TO FIX THE "MATCH MAKING" ISSUE...

What I’m saying is that they are apparently using the wrong metrics for calculating skill. Individuals working in their spare time have managed to produce a fair skill balancer based on stats that works extremely well. ( https://forum.myrcon.com/showthread.php?7169-TrueBalancer-0-5-3-0 )

That sort of formula would be a good starting point for SD to use. They may be tracking the wrong information.

For example, SPM, or score per minute is a wonderful way to track someone’s skill with a particular merc. It’s a good overview of how good is X person at doing Y merc’s job. Does DB even log this sort of information even disparately ?

If you want to play a fair and balanced game go play an MMORPG or something, not a First Person Shooter.

What is this the communist regime of the gaming world. Everyone is so strung up about making things more fair and balanced.

There is no competitive spirit in this community, we are left with these guys:

If I can have just one wish it would be to purge this noncompetitive attitude from this community.

Play to win. Simply, play to win. Don’t be sore, I’d hate if these noncompetitive propositions ruin this game. I’m probably one or two updates away from quitting, I’ve been hoping for more serious competitive players to flood this game but we only have you guys. And you’re never satisfied. Never.

@MTLMortis Send that to the devs or whoever as I have no idea in that field lols

@Kingsley If you read any of my replies or even my Exaggerating Scenarios thread you would see I’m of the same mindset. I personally have no issues with match making as I am a good player (well I consider myself to be anyway) and a simple 6 v 7 wont do much to ruin my games. I’m also all up for dropping this topic because from what I concluded, most people who cry about it are just bad at the game and want something to blame for their losses.

So please when you say “you guys” don’t include me.

I’ve seen a lot of people with this type of attitude do whatever it takes to stack the odds in their favor.
