I found some threads on this forum that have to do with g_banner and motd but I am not sure that this is what I am looking for. I am not looking for something that will interrupt the game by splattering something on screen and distracting the player during gameplay.
I was in a server last night where the title screen had the name of the server on the upper left in red letters. By title screen I am NOT talking about the animation video clips that you see before and after the game is played. I am talking instead about the still picture. There is one still picture before each map that everyone must see before the game is loaded. On that screen someone wrote something like Team-Blahblahblah Server.
Can anyone tell me what cvar they used to do this? If I had thought about it I would have taken notice of which server it was so I could ask the admin directly but I didn’t think about it.
