Timik pixel bug

Has someone ever noticed that there is a little pixel bug at the left front end of the rail? Or am I the only one.
(Only Thunders timik doesn’t have it.)
Maybe someone’s got a screenshot?

It seems that you can look through that little spot.
If you’re paying attention to that, it gets annoying.

Looks to me like an overly bright reflection effect or a bad texture placement. On your second picture, it’s quite clear that there is (or should be) a rectangular surface there, but it’s hard to tell if it is actually see-through or not, although the color doesn’t match anything I would expect to be in the background there. You would have to look at it with a clearly contrasting background (like a white wall or blue sky) to say for sure.

Edit: Just tried it in-game and it is a reflection effect: it still shows up as a bright rectangle against a nearly black background (1st objective helo in Dome) so it’s not see-through.

Also in that pic the color seems consistent with the rest of the edge of that S-shaped bit at the front of the rail, so it’s probably not a texturing error.

So… I tested it again.
It IS see-through. But only if swiped to the right (with animated weapon move. on), then you’ll see it.
You will notice that there is a missing texture spot.
And if you look really carefully it’s more or less on the other side too (you’ll see that by weap insp.).
It seems that there wasn’t textured right behind the rail (between rail and handguard)…

PS: look at the first pic… you’ll see that the sky can be seen through the spot.
Just test it :smile:
