Frankly I don’t see why anyone would prefer the timik over the m4.

You can expect Thunder to have the Timik. Big Russian merc with an AK look-alike, who would have thought :wink:

Nope… Honestly, each merc should have a unique weapon.

If a weapon is shared among other mercs, the merc’s uniqueness diminishes. That being said, Vassili has too much of a unique weapon.

I can agree that each merc should have their unique weapon (Sawbones is going to have bonesaw) but…

…vassilis smg:s are common pool that fletcher, sparks and proxy can use, also Aimee (merc not yet released) also has access to same sniper rifles. Also Redeye has vassilis semi auto sniper. I would not say that he is unique realy.

Looking at old beta forums for this so I don’t know if I’m breaking the NDAs but someone said Thunder’s old loadouts had the equivalent of what fragger would have, so it’d be Timik, Stark and whatever they’re calling the M249, I really wish It wasn’t and he’d just get the Timik M249 and the K-121.

Vassili is viable only as long as his MOA and FEL-IX remain his unique weapon that no one else can use. If you gave RedEye these weapons, Vassili would NEVER be used - because his motion sensor doesn’t work with every situation and he has no smoke grenade like Red Eye does. If you gave those snipers to any merc who also had more than just a semi-useful motion sensor, Vassili would become a pointless pick.
