timik-47 nerf?

(GamePois0n) #1

Is it me or the timik’s bullet track is now random?

also when you tap, the recoil still goes up like I was auto firing it

(Faraleth) #2

It was actually buffed. :s Also, moving to weapon discussion.

I dont understand where they’re trying to take the Timik. With these constant feather buffs theyre just making more and more like the M4…with more recoil.

It has no identity of its own.

Exactly. They seriously should just go the CS route and slow down it’s RoF, increase damage, make the recoil a bit harder to control but make it something that can be learned (and not completely random) and let it be it’s own gun. As opposed to it getting closer and closer to the M4 but still being worse overall.

It feels like it’s been nerfed to me. Yes, I read the patch notes. I mean yea the recoil and spread have decreased overall but oh man, the bullet pattern now flys off everywhere, which means u have to zoom in -> really really bad on the timik-47 cuz the iron sight on it sucks

Instead of playing around with RoF and spread, you could leave it be and give timik a bigger headshot multiplier or reduced damage falloff. Giving the weapon a different headshot multiplier could also solve issues between moa and felix. Both weapons ( timik & felix ) could profit from having 2.5x headshot multiplier versus the regular 2x.

These “Let just adjust it a bit” patches don’t seem to get anywhere.

That’s a pretty big change and not one I like. It shouldn’t just randomly kill somebody faster because you happen to hit a headshot. I think that’s why they have been sticking to headshots being twice that of body damage. And drop off isn’t a huge buff because the gun wanders all over the place as it is even after multiple small changes.

I’d rather it be it’s own weapon as opposed to being an m4 clone with minor differences or unseen damage differences personally. I want it to fire differently.

I don’t think headshot multipliers will ever be changed. It seems like it would take a lot of repackaging because it is a universal thing among guns.

I don’t feel any nerf. It’s very slightly easier to control now. Also, the bullet pattern was always all over the place, and you get to that stage quickly with its great ROF.

(Gung-ho) #10

I too have noticed it feels a bit more wild now despite what the patch notes say.

so overall it was a nerf, devs worded it like its a buff.
