Time to Kill

Giving my feedback after playing the game for 2 hrs. I feel the game’s time to kill is way to high. Maybe increase all gun damage or decrease health?

It really depend on the merc or weapon you use imo. A fragger will kill easily and in no time witha good timed cooked grenade in the face or a burst of his LMG in the face. Sniper will instantly kill anything with a headshot and gib. Most of assault’s ability allows for quick death. Shotgun will usually two shot kill with good range and aim. Melee, depending on the merc and the perk or even the melee itself, can kill more or less quickly if the ennemy don’t fill your face with bullets.

Overall, I’d say it rely a lot on headshot multiplier that drasticly reduce the time to kill someon, the wepaon itself and the merc you use. And ofc your skill at using the said things. :slight_smile:

You get new low ttk shooters every month, let people have high ttk (its not even that high) shooter every few years.

It’s a different type of game that appeals to different types of people. If you want a shorter TTK, look into games like Counter-Strike, Call of Duty, or maybe even Battlefield. :slight_smile:

i like that the TTK is higher, but its only higher on certain characters, characters with low health don’t get weapons that do enough damage to compete with the other classes. Aura has the shotguns yeah but they have a slow rate of fire and take 2-4 shots to down a rhino which gives the rhino plenty of time to just hold down the trigger and basically insta-gib an aura. I think to compensate they really need to give aura weapons that do much higher damage to level them out to similar TTK.

This game plays out to me like a very fast paced halo, but in halo everyone had an even playing field and what really determined who won firefights was the person with better aim while in this if you’re an aura and you’re say using the Blishlock, while its a fantastic weapon on most classes it doesn’t have nearly enough DPS to compete with basically every other weapon in the game. The weapon’s aren’t balanced properly to suit each class, they’re just balanced for certain roles and that’s no good.

Going back to the aura, there’s basically no reason to use the Blishlock with that class because anyone who uses it is at a huge disadvantage with that class. They need to balance weapons to specific classes and leave them to those classes only.

Well the lower health is because Aura and other Mercs either need that extra speed due to their role, or because the ability is strong enough to need lower health as a downside.

The healing station for example is quite powerful, as is the Orbital Laser or Proxy’s mines.

That and having extra speed means nothing slows you down, even if you die quicker the fact that you’re so fast often throws off a lot of people’s aim and reaction time.

For example, I notice with Kira that the Dreiss seems more powerful on her than Arty, just because of how fast she can move with it.

I think the TTKs are decent but I’d actually like to see slightly longer TTKs to the body and slightly shorter TTKs to the head.

Are you kidding me, people die incredibly fast in this game. Especially if you play Aura, you spend most of the time dead. In CS:GO, people also die really fast. To be honest, people die fast in most games. Slowest has to be Blacklight: Retribution so far for me tbh.

Just aim for the head, ttk will literally halve.
