Thunder got nerfed, what's next?

I’ve seen so many complaints on GSR, but nobody gave a shit a month or two since the buff.
Redeye has never been called OP, even on release. I agree, people hated his IR for a short span after release back in Q3 2015, but then everyone got used to it.

Why do you guys want to nerf stuff as soon as it reaches some point when advanced players start paying attention to it?

No noob ever is gonna score a decent amount of points with GSR, same applies to BRs, which are hated so much only because good players can mow you down using ANYTHING. Yet no one gives a fuck that <20 noobs can destroy servers with shotguns, which actually ARE in need of rework.

Stop asking for nerfs for weapons which are effective in good hands. Nerf cheesy strats and only then dare to call this game a “hardcore competitive shooter”

thunder nerf is just as useless as the burst rifle nerf was.
burst rifles and the grandeur are deadly even in a noob’s hands cause they barely require any skill.

And the grandeur was already stupid before it got a buff, just the forum retards crying that it required to much skill and had to be dumbed down even more.

I’ve just been taking the buffs since Redeye has been one of my favorite mercs since he released. Least one of my other favorites, Stoker, was buffed in this patch.

Thunder is actually in need of a minor buff, 1 dmg added to MK46 (so it’s not basically garbage without the concussion grenade), I’d be fine with a proper nerf to his grenade, 20 seconds would probably be a better cooldown time for instance. Would still prefer no flash effect and just a heavy emphasis on the distortion since you can at least see somewhat with that.

Honestly the only thing I would change on Grandeur is nerfing the headshot damage, so it can’t 1 hit Aura and Sparks. But in exchange the accuracy needs to be buffed more, there’s no reason for the hipfire to be so iffy at times.

I don’t understand how devs dead set against jump sniping are so comfortable with a short fuse grenade that immobilizes and blinds? Thrown by a merc with too much HP and access to the strongest primary in the game.

Then again, Phantom is invisible, armored, and forced to emit an EMP that alerts players to his (cloaked) presence with a single ability…

Thunder and Phantom need some reworks.

This is all completely wrong. First, Redeye has been considered extremely overpowered in competitive matches for a very long time now, and Thunder spent about a whole year being considered OP as well, he’s the most common ban on DBN and nearly every single PUG has all players agreeing on a global Thunder ban.
