SO i was listening to Fragger quotes and I found out he has some that seem to be directed towards Thunder, well they are kind of stpe-brothers.
“I am Thunder, I am Agro”
“I am Fragger, some kind of Thunderfull, thats what I am”
“personally I think i am Kind of Thunderrated”

Didn’t Fragger have concusion nade & frag grenade at closed beta and later devs decided to separate those abilities and make two mercs: Thunder and Fragger? (Correct me if I remember this wrong)
Could this have something to do with those voice lines?

Possibly but to fit it into the lore, the two must have met in the war before.

Obviously old lines for when Fragger was being implemented.
Before Thunder and Fragger there was a merc named Dazzler who had both Frags and Flashbangs and had both the MK46 as a primary and M4A1 as a secondary before them being split into 2 characters, Fragger Kept the MK as a primary and M4 as a secondary and Thunder had the K-121 as a primary and Hochfir as a secondary.

It’s obvious that Fragger went through name changes before being called Fragger (Thunder/Aggro).
Splash Damage gave Thunder a completely new design, which comes from one of the designs originally for Fragger.
This is why you’ll see them having what is now each other’s LMGs.
Want to know some other things? before coming up with Phantom, Vasilli had a loadout with the FEL-IX and cloaking, you’ll notice Vasilli and Proxy have many placeholder lines for abilities other mercs have.
Phantom at one point used to have the FEL-IX, hence why many lines have him announce how he’s good at both close and long ranges.
Phantom at one point actually just had a semi-automatic silenced pistol and a sword.
