Is there anything official in the works with Thunder? Or is everyone throwing ideas out to deaf ears?

we are just hoping that they will see that, but idk they never let us know if thwy saw something
Make thunder an engineer. Make the EMP blast zone bigger and last longer and boom he makes more sense. As an assault merc he is ridiculousy bad and I constantly berate him because 80% of the time when I get concussed it does jack shit (gray blurry screen where I can still shoot you). I wouldn’t mind a tankier engineer who has the capability to knock down healthpad and mines to clear the way…with occasionally stunning people.
I haven’t heard anything. I mean, his main problem isn’t that he sucks. It’s just that Fragger is better in most cases in the same position. His niche as an assault is basically Fragger but less. He’s not super close and hold a doorway like Rhino (which isn’t super useful but that’s another thread) and he doesn’t have the mobility or versatility of the grenades that Nader has. And he is good in the same situations that Fragger is good but Fragger is clearly better.
A different ability to make him more offensive would have been interesting. Maybe let him go primary + secondary weapon akimbo every 60 seconds for 10 seconds giving him a lot more power on entry while also having the current flash would be something. But it might be OP in actual practice since it would be an “I win” button in a direct fight which would be annoying.
I honestly can’t think of much right now that would “fix” what currently isn’t really broken.
Thunder should be good at execution maps and clutching in it.
however thunder isnt that viable in objective/stopwatch because his unconscious grenades are hard to use in these long range objective matches.

Can we just give thunder a second flash bang and have him take off his backpack and call it a day?
What if they left the backpack on but made it so that he takes 15-30% less damage from behind. That would be worthwhile.

What about making him into some kind of defence buster character. Instead of giving him more offensive abilities, give him more health and maybe some kind of body armour that helps him soak up a percentage of damage dealt to him for a certain amount of time. And then it has a 30-45 second cool down maybe?
That would make him into one of the most unique characters in the game because most other character have abilities that deal damage, the exception being phantom. Really, it is something I would like to see among more character especially the new ones that are coming out in the next few months. Unique abilities. We already know turtle’s, and I really can’t wait because I think that adding turtle to a squad with say an aura, Fragger and a stoker could be a seriously game changing combo. Also aimee, I am excited to see what they have done for her.
Anyways, I just hope that thunder gets some love sometime soon.
