Funny, I’ve found the same with yourself. (tho I agree with the locked bodytypes)
This will be controversial.
not even close, there’s way more arrogant dicks around here
top ten maybe, but not #1
Maybe we should have a poll?
That might be…controversial. puts on sunglasses YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
If you spot flaws then by all means point them out, usually I even have to highlight the weak points in my thesis to get the conversation going.
Well y’see, that’s where the pig headed part comes in
Look it up. You’re definitely not the only one (a few have been for apparent in recent threads), but you do excel at it very well.
That’s okay, I get that a lot and not just on this forum. Calling me that is mostly used as a cop-out, either that or someone actually agrees with me but wants to demonstrate he’s not conforming to me.
Oh I agree, you are right sometimes, we agreed on the locked bodytype per match… just a pity that you’re usually pig headed more than you’re right, like now… which is a shame.
Just don’t ever think calling someone pig-headed is a valid counter-argument to anything, it’s just causing a show, a substitute for a lack of any substantial arguments. It’s nothing but a personal attack.
It wasn’t part of an argument, it was an accurate observation… now you’re just trying to steer away from the statement. I’m happy with it, and you agreed… why now try double back and counter it?
I didn’t agree. It’s a rather common linguistic trap. There’s no way you can enter in on a argument about how stubborn you are and win. I’m just fine with whatever people call me.
Actually it’s an ad hominem fallacy. You’re attacking the points he’s made in other threads by saying that he’s a “bad person.” Sure, you didn’t say those words. You said “pig-headed.” The point is that instead of addressing his other threads (or this thread) you attacked his personality.
Aye, pig-headed or not, it doesn’t make me wrong. I’d appreciate it if you could elaborate how and why I am wrong rather than just insinuate it.
Now that’s complete avoidance, and the age old typical ‘prove it’, which strengthens it again… did you read up on the meaning of pig headed? If you did, then you’d know that, regardless of elaboration, your pig headedness would never concede, which would turn it into a pointless venture… like this very conversation. “I’m not pig headed and you’ll never convince me otherwise!”, are you even seeing the irony here? I’d say our latest escapade of the grinding and penalty discussion is a prime example, though hats off, you conceded in that one… eventually.
It’s a blatant ad hominem. Saying someone is wrong but refusing to say why is nothing but a passive aggressive façade.

Arguing against being pig-headed is a catch-22 Did you even read my posts? I didn’t bite .You wouldn’t know how often people try me to lure me down that path. I’m sure this particular game has a fancy name and any English or Philosophy student wouldn’t have any trouble pointing it out.
I’d say our latest escapade of the grinding and penalty discussion is a prime example, though hats off, you conceded in that one… eventually.
Oh now I get it, you just want everyone to easily accept each other’s arguments, well tough.
I actually do understand your attitude though. Happens on many boards, people don’t like my aggressive approach regardless of their own take on the matter and just need to distantiate themselves from me so they can still take the same side but not get confused with my militancy. You see this appear in politics as well when different parties hold similar positions but need to stand out on their own, they just tell the others are wrong and add they’re either weak or yes, arrogant.
You like to hear yourself talk don’t you? My ad hominem attack rating just went up.
