This Spawn Killing though...

Ok, so one thing i loved about Brink, which is another of Splash Damage’s beauties, is the General Spawn areas(which had multiple exits) where covered by Undestructable turrets…and i feel Dirty Bomb needs the same treatment.

We had 3 Bushwhackers all with turrets at one point, IN our spawn. it’s getting beyond a joke now, i usually have no problem breaking out, but when my team just start trying to phantom out, and the defenders start Nadering in…it makes like a little bit more difficult.

this game does not have spawn killing

ps - brink was terrible

Goddamn… I hate it when that happens. Just try to survive usually, the game doesn’t record KD so who cares?

What if people with in 200 meters (random number) of the spawn were basically HB marked.

When attackers are pushed back to the spawn,it starts the spawnkilling stage. Then only thing is to counter-push,leave a game for all or afk a match and do something(like drink coffee,go to the toilet).

And in a second, elites will come with:“It is your team fault for that”.

I warned you CowHank :innocent:

So noobs but the game is about pushing.

A. attackers push the defenders back, usually past the obj, to do the obj.
B. defenders do the same but push the attackers back until they are in their spawn

That is it. That is all that is happening. Next people will be complain the attackers pushed them back into their spawn so they could do the obj

This has already been discussed 1000 times. go read those threads and by the by its not “elitist” t say the above. its just being aware of game mechanics.

learn to play better and it wont happen so much

It doesn’t matter how good of a player i am, which i think i’m pretty good, but 1 player, or even 2 players can not make the slightest of difference when there are 8 people spawn killing.

I’m not going to lie, there are some bad players on this game, both teams, but 8 bad players vs 1 good player will always kill the 1 player.

Spawn Killing is a problem, Brink had it solved. SD need to look at their past failing for the good that was in them!

It’s a little worse now with all the turrets set up around corners you can’t bounce bombs or grenades at (you can call an airstrike but it doesn’t kill them faster than they can respawn).

It is an issue because it creates the feeling of a helpless game and I personally leave any mission this happens on.

agreed the spawn killing is bad in some games. It’s pretty rare when it happens as most games are generally fair enough that they don’t push back into the spawn area but when it does happen there’s not much you can do to fight back.

If you can’t change the spawns atleast give some invulnerability that doesn’t drop off when you start firing. there needs to be some mechanic in the game that prevents spawn camping. There is no good reason that any fps game should allow players to be spawn camped. It’s bad for the game in general as players getting spawn camped will just get more and more upset everytime it happens. Usually they just get upset at the players but after so many times of it happening they start to blame the developers for not addressing the issue and quit the game altogether.

Fun fact you actually get a credit punishment depending on how DESTROYED was the enemy team to the point where you can get no credits
