This is what happes when you don't test it properly

This game really has/had the potential to be something great. Right now its just huuge flaws everywhere.

This does really suck to play with randoms. Some people is just plain dumb and can’t even see what’s in front of them. So this is basically aimed for higher levels of competition where you really use your teamplay and can talk to each other. But then instead the servers are just totally ****ed up. Almost every server you join is running the maps where the sounds bug is. Almost every server lags like ****. You’ve finally broke the enemy lines and are trying to get behind em and totally about to turn the tide when there’s a huuge lag spike and you die. Just sooo annoying!!1!11!!1oneone

Then there’s no linux servers so its almost impossible to find a match when someone has a server.

The game is supposed to have no invisible walls? At least that’s what I heard in some interview. There’s invisible walls everywhere. You can’t move wherever you want. You’re very limited to just follow the painted roads ahead of you.

That’s the key to getting this game to work as it is right now. Then it does really feel like something is missing which would really improve the game. Right now I can’t point it out and I’m just very frustrated. This reminds me so much about the release of bad company 2. Really buggy and they had to patch it like 10 times before it was fine.

Please work hard to fix this! Its critical for the future of the game!

With a beta of some kind for this game this could have been fixed. At the moment it kinda feels like a beta =/

The only walls I’ve found are walls preventing you going outside of the map or actual physical walls.

SD are working on the rest, did you notice that they’ve released two patches since launch? Most games wouldn’t be getting their first patch for another week or so.

No servers? There’s plenty of servers! Heck, Brink Vault is getting a server soon. You’re more than welcome to play on it.

Did they ever say Linux would get support?

Testing doesn’t account for bad teams and the lagg will be fixed eventually, and to complain about invisible walls is stupid, the maps would have to cover the entire arc if they had no walls.

ummmm I do not understand what these people are complaining about, I have never suffered from server lag, I do not run into these invisible walls and I can go anywhere I want WITHIN the confines of the game map. I think people are just over exaggerating things because they were expecting something more CoDized. The game has bugs yes but its not as bad as people are making it out to be. Especially for PC gamers

PC > console…get with the program

And console player’s life > PC player’s life ---- what’s your point?

I thought we were passed the PC/Console war? Can’t we just focus on making Brink as a whole better for everyone? Thats a bit petty…

I support all the improvements that PC users can get. Brink is a fantastic game and I want it to succeed.

Server browser is a bit wonky. This one time it found over 250 servers but 5 minutes later it couldn’t find any. Sometimes it won’t find anything. Also the filters are a bit unclear (what of example is filtered when one enters 6 into the player number filter?).

Here here brother, btw i agree with your sig, but the generic game modes still need to keep in the brink theme with being objective, with some tweaks thy could intwine the two and please everyone.

There’s like zone you can’t be in. Small ledges with railes or small boxes you just bump into. When you place turrents and there’s **** on the ground you can’t place em there. I understand if its a corpse but if there’s something there that is flat and you can run over it without bouncing or jumping. You should be able to place something there as well!

I’ve noticed. And yes almost every other company would have fixed the critical stuff within a day or two. If it was possible. And I don’t mind that some fonts were screwed up because they had a hurry with the patching.

Yes they have. To lazy to get you a link at the moment though.

I’m no console player. To be hones with you I don’t care about the console versions.
You’re probably one of those that never lost the sound on any maps either? At first you kinda look away when you see some bugs. The game did really feel awesome at first. When you learn the game more and more to advance on to really playing for the full potential of what the game can bare you really get annoyed on these small but really critical stuff.

I have probably seen most videos/interviews out there about brink before the launch. I’ve played most FPS games actually and I’m very aware about what this game is. And for what its worth it seems like consoles are worse then PC for once!

I said no linux servers yet. There’s servers. Most people searching for wars is has “server off”. Which makes it harder to find a match. I don’t see why they over the last years almost forgot about linux servers. Windows have become better and more stable but is still no where near linux in stability and simplicity when it comes to running servers.

Oh and why is there “consol ping bars” in the game. PC gamers want their numbers! Is there any way to change this with a console command or can you make it more sensitive. I highly doubt that almost everyone online wherever you go has a full green bar. I wouldn’t say good ping is above 30. Different from game to game but around there.
