you guys really just do not know how to balance. the phantom players have been telling you guys things like “just take the shield away and leave the cloak” w/o hacks phantoms after seen are fairly squishy(shield negated).
you guys have reduced the playability of phantom to zero. i bought phantom and now i regret it. the cloak was already broken depending what map you where on(getting seen down the block on some others till close range) the noise was way noticeable(if you were listening for it) and the visual was noticeable(if you are looking for it). yet yous guys made the on/off noise to others and visuals easier. there is NO point in playing a stealth class that can be seen by anyone just glancing randomly in any direction.
thank you devs for ruining phantom instead of listening to phantom players and making good balance decisions.

As I said, the balancing department seems to have absolutely no Idea what the general idea is when you look at a character that makes himself invincible and who is the only one to have access to a special melee weapon.
I don’t know if it’s worse the fact that they overnerfed him or the fact that those nerf were all in terrible directions, the second one may be worse tho since it could mean that they have no idea how to work with him thus he will remain in a limbo where he won’t get touched because they are scared to make a mess ^^
they didnt overnerf phantom, if anything they made it so he could no longer get away with stupid stuff that would get any other merc killed. The actual problem and the thing that has bothered me since they put him back in is his current design is just completely retarded and he still has the same issues that were noticed back in closed beta.
They seem quite focused on making him a tanky berserker instead of a pure stealth class that dies if caught and he STILL offers absolutely zero utility to the team and was just a terrible assault since he’s only good for killing people but couldnt break through a group of enemies dug into an area like actual assault classes. In fact large groups is usually the last place he wants to be, instead looking for lone players or small scattered groups.
They need to give him some real recon utility, like how vassili can spot enemies through walls with his heartbeat sensor, but focusing his design around a sneaky flanker instead of whatever they’re trying to do with him now.

wow maybe you should try reading what the phantom players are saying rather than just spitting out idiocy none of the phantom players would have minded getting rid of the shield… just having cloak. READ FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! READ BEFORE POSTING!
Actually I prefer the armor over the cloak, I’d rather just do my thing and then bail out with a sliver of hp.
