apologies for stating opinion guys  seems the internet is not the best place for a discussion xD

(Ghosthree3) #22

That’s not what your OP was about and you know it. Shoo, back under the bridge from whence you came.

(MasoN) #23

who are you some internet hardman who takes count of all the internet arguments you’ve won xD

(insaneCylinder) #24

If unreal-esq FPS isn’t for you then this game isn’t for you. I don’t know why you needed to make a thread about it.

(Ghosthree3) #25

Because he wanted to bait people.

(MasoN) #26

See, another common thing people seem to misunderstand is that they believe they can state an opinion but not have to defend it. If you are going to state your opinion and encourage debate you need to be able to back it up with well crafted logic. You can say that you don’t like something, that’s fine. But when you attack something like when you called into question the skill required to do what is required in this game to be good then you opened that can of worms and now you need to either defend your opinion with logic or look like a troll.

Your choice.

I felt that Killzone 2 struck a good balance between hip-firing, ADS usage and movement skills. As good as it gets on a console shooter, anyway. Good times on Warzone gamemode, gl hf R.I.P KZ2.

Ditto. It’s an eloquent way of stating “back your crap up.” Great post bro.

Does MasoN play CSGO? This totally sounds like the game Mason would like. CSGOs focus is on aiming and controlling different guns.

However i feel, that many people take the definition of “skill” out their arse. Many types of skill exists. The three most important skills in mp video games are probably mechanical execution, tactical planning and social interaction. Many video games focus on different aspects, but all are a viable ways to test a specific kind of skill.

Yes, you don’t need much practice or skill to aim a weapon in Dirty Bomb. You don’t really need to learn some spray patterns and the relative long kill time makes headshots less important (you will probably not die to a low hp enemy, who 1-2shots you in less than 0.5s), especially with the movement system. However movement, especially flanking, longjumps and walljumps can be game changers in a fight and need to be executed well. Jumping around does not help you, when you can’t aim at the same time.

How you get your team to play the objective is still a question unanwsered

Err…

Don’t face of in an adadada battle. You move fast for a reason. Outmaneuver them by juking around/over the environment.

This game plays more like Quake than Battlefield.

I dont care abt zig zag asd or jumping around players even if they are using shotgun, i can track well and i do that almost to perfection…

Even if you jump like a bunny, i will track your path n prefire n kill you…(then i get called hacker) and i will tbag you …

I come from a game where 3rd shot with your AR will hit 3m away from your opponent, jumping gives you sniper accuracy (outside ironsight) , average TTK is around 0.7 second…

So pretty much DB is like playing with no recoil , no spread cheat !
^ BRAGGGING…

I dont jump around against normal players but i do jump around with bunnyhoppers and 90% of the time i kill em (with AR or SMG,i cant use shotgun for shit)…

Seriously bunny hopping should give you HIGHER ACCURACY PENALTY, as well the movement accuracy modifier should be greater, currently the accuracy modifier of your SMG and AR is the same… SMG should have no movement penalty while AR should have higher movement penalty.

Actually jumping is a terrible idea when you are in a gunfight…
