If I get kicked one more time for a “security violation”, SD will never see another dime from me. This shit is out of hand.
This game's garbage anti-cheat software.
Stop using stuff that get you kicked. Must not be a hack or a cheat, but some other program that’a blocked by NGS. Crashes happens sometimes, but if you get kicked very frequently, it’s on your end.
Uh, nope. Nothing special going on. It’s notoriously bad for booting randomly for no reason. This is well known.
Up until recently I had not heard much about NGS booting people. I used to get booted somewhat often myself but I haven’t been booted in months. A friend of mine was trying to play last night and they had a lot of issues with NGS producing a security violation message so it’s possible there was a new change that was made that is causing this again. NGS is updated independently of game patches so it’s definitely possible.
There are possibly programs that could be triggering the crash that causes it but I don’t know if a proper list was ever compiled that could interfere. If anybody has a link to a list that could be handy.
This has been happening to me randomly, got booted twice this month for game security violation. Nothing except Firefox and Steam run in background and I don’t use firewall or antivirus. Only thing I have noticed in the last crash was the game starts lagging me a lot in FPS like literally it drops to 5-6fps for some secs and then I get kicked. Not to mention I get terrible fps everytime a vote is called. They need to fix that.

True, I didn’t get that message for like a months, and yesterday I got two of them
EDIT now: 3 in total…
Thing I noticed when my “Security Violation” kicks happen, NGS has usually crashed.
Ever since I stopped using Mumble overlays for the crosshair, I haven’t had a single one (I used to get several on a daily basis). Are you by any chance using something like this? :s
this. i also had issues using Certainly not a torrent program that starts with a u most certainly legally downloading movies, music, and such.
not using anything, yet I am getting it now on daily basis, but few days ago, I didn’t even think I would get security violation problem ever again…
Using mumble crosshair overlays isn’t getting me booted.
What I believe was getting me booted at one point, was Gigabyte’s Overclocking software, that would start up upon booting the computer, I just removed it, and a bunch of other useless stuff, from the list of software that runs on start up, and I haven’t been booted by NGS since then (like 3 months ago, or so).
Overlay’s are becoming increasingly popular. Mumble overlay, Steam overlay, Teamspeak overlay, Win10 overlay, Shadowplay overlay etc. I wonder if any of these programs, which would be trying to hook into Dirty Bomb, are causing the crashes/violations. Or combinations of them are causing it like Steam overlay not working well with Rivatuner overlay or Win10 overlay etc.
The logic behind that is not only that these programs would try to affect DB while it’s running (typically a sign of tampering) but that there is a pretty well documented recent issue with Nvidia’s overlay not playing nice with Steam for a lot of users. And WIn10’s overlay causing issues as well (I had to turn mine off).
Takes about 3 times of getting booted for it to stop. You are not alone.
Every time I restart my PC, I experience it.
With at least the players that I play with, we’ve been joking about this for the last month
I observed that it happens whenever there’s a kill streak. Game gives the boot like clockwork, its the reason why I tend to pub before I get into PUGS/Comp.
I thought it maybe programs that I have running, but they’re all mainstream programs that I wouldn’t suspect would be flagged.
My user applications generally consist of:
Nvidia Control Panel/Geforce Experience
Razer Synapse
Logitech Gaming Software
Overwolf (I do suspect that it might be overwolf)
Teamspeak
Plantronics Gamecon
Google Chrome
If it persists thru next update, I plan on screenshotting my running processes when I receive them for a technical report. I suggest that you do the same.
I have a pal that keeps getting booted and has changed nothing…just happened randomly I think it might be mumble, but he’s used it for so long idk what it could be? He rarely plays tho because game annoying him. Shame, he clocked in so many hours

running in the background constantly and I don’t have any problems
I checked this thread to see what’s new, between rounds, right as my buddy got kicked for a violation. haha… such crap software.
You know the funny thing is quite literally, since I started using mumble crosshairs (about a week ago) I haven’t been booted once. Before that, it used to happen frequently. Almost daily. I dare say that mumble isn’t an issue.
While I did experience the violation error when NGS was implemented, I didn’t have any recent problems.
However, I’m not running anything special (no overlays).
