You did after all mention me by name.
So I thought you deserved a similar retort.
The Pot Calling the Kettle Black
You do realize the only reason I mentioned ET:QW was to relate the skill difference has pretty much vanished between the same teams, right? The only real difference in the two teams’ lineups were that we both lost like one player and had replaced them.
When playing vs hubris in ET:QW, I would have probably been killed every time by chump or r4s (or pretty much any of them) any time we happened upon each other in a 1v1, but playing vs them in BRINK is a different story. I know when one of them killed me, I’d kill him the next time. It wasn’t ever one of us going 10/1 on the other or anything, it was always something like 10 to 9 or 8 to 6. I also know I didn’t magically get better at playing, because I spent the last couple of years playing TF2 and never touching ET:QW for more than one or two maps or anything else that would have helped me play BRINK
I wouldn’t even call myself an ET:QW fanboy; it’s just the only game that is close enough to relate to this game, besides W:ET which I don’t have enough time in to actually make a well thought out response on. If you can think of another game that is relatively close to this game that my post could have used, by all means tell me it and I’ll see if I’ve played vs hubris, GeezerGaming, or any other NA BRINK team in it.
