Im done, im burned out, im tire of the same bullshit of game that is dirty bomb.
This game was supposed to be a TEAM BASED game, while the game is well balanced on that, NONE A SINGLE PLAYER NOTICES, OR CANT EVEN BE A PART OF IT.
I just had a stopwatch match, where both teams were having a intense fight. At first, we were kinda balanced. And it was fine. I was for a day enjoying the game.
When we switched to attackers, the enemy team changed their composition to: 1 Rhino, 2 Fraggers, 1 Fletcher, 1 Sawbonez, and a Skyhammer. Medic, good defense characters, and a needed specialist.
Our team? Oh, basically composed of NONE A SINGLE assault character, only 2 medics, me and another guy both auras, 2 proxies(for attack, wtf), and the rest skyhammers.
And people think, this game is, balanced? You gotta be kidding me.
HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED, TO COUNTER THE ENEMY TEAM, IF WE DONT EVEN HAVE THE PROPER CHARACTERS?
If we had at least for example a redeye, to block the enemy vision, and deal high damage to the assault enemies, we could have stand a chance.
And yes, this is gonna be the main reason of this post. The stupid unbalance caused by the own developers.
I find really absurd that Splash Damage wants this game to go fully competitive to get it to go to ESL/Esports or something. When players dont even have access to obligatory characters. You just can’t dedicate yourself because the developers dont let you. It sucks.
And people think its “easy” to get characters, when its simply a grindfest. Missions dont give enough money, and leveling up neither, progressing in this game is right now PUNISHING.
The game cannot go this way, absolutely not, because the developers are slowing the playerbase to play the game. Giving them the feel that this game is totally pay2win when they fight another player with better characters, and they only have access to 2 worthless characters they are forced to use. And the free merc rotation its the same bullshit. Its curious how an assault character is rarely selected, like fragger or thunder.
And i swear, i have tried to play “competitive”, which is unexistant because i have been literally waiting for 10 minutes wihout finding any match.
And now, another think that i personally think that ruins the game.
Explosives. Characters that carry explosives.
Before stoker was added to the game, Splash damage decided to buff up all of them. Thats why fletcher deals so much fucking damage now. And now we have nader nerfed. Fletcher is next as we know.
But, why all explosive carrying characters had their explosive damage buffed to 1 shot every character in the game? (except rhino of course), and the most of the time instagib on kill.
Its absurd, there is only 3 characters in the game who have enough HP to survive, and all of them are assaults (Fragger, Rhino and Thunder), meant to be on the frontline, being the ones to deal the most damage and suck all the possible damage before going down.
All of them take skill to use them, good, as they are supposed to be. But their damage is absurdibly high. And they are AoE which makes it worse. Thats why they always get the most kills in the game. 1 Hit ability.
All the time i have been putting into this game is giving me the feel of waste of time. I DONT WANT TO GRIND MYSELF OUT FOR GETTING A SINGLE CHARACTER JUST TO BE ABLE TO PLAY BETTER, SOMETHING THAT MAKES THE GAME BORING!
If you gave the players the chance to look the situation, pick the proper mercs to counter the enemy team, then this game’s balance problems would be instantly solved. Just unlock all characters for free. Find yourself another way of making money instead of blocking your playerbase’s progress. Which is something to be ashamed of.
So if you excuse, I GIVE UP ON THIS GAME, it can fuck right off, fuck off the blind developers, and fuck off this elitist community who thinks this game is enjoyable by grinding. FUCK ALL OF IT
