I was going to wait until I had 48 hours play time to give my thoughts, but I am at 43 so whatever.
I love this game. People who are complaining about the game just aren’t in the right mindset. I got to the point after playing a lot, I didn’t care about score or any stat. I felt like my average lifespan was about 20sec. I would just run in there chuck a sticky bomb, or a molotov, or whatever, shoot at a guy and get downed in a hail of gunfire. It was still fun. This game requires effort not to find fun.
Try the weird stuff, the counter intuitive. I played a heavy operative with the heavy shotgun. That was loads of fun. I played a light soldier and limited myself to only molotovs and the knife. Why you ask? Why not? I feel like this game is more fun when you stop worrying about dying or kills or even score, and start thinking about helping your team win and having fun while you are at it. I felt like as long as you planted the bomb or hacked the objective, you team would help you by murdering the enemy.
Gamers, even from call of duty and the K/D side of FPS, KNOW where the heat of the action is, and will gravitate towards it. Even if they are just playing for kills, there are plenty of kills to be had at the objective. We all know it, so stop being so mad about having a dumb operative going for kills and switch to that class and complete the objective instead of being the ‘sole medic carrying the team’.
There were many times where on the top of Sec Tower, as the prisoner was going up that ramp to the giant wall, where there would be just some guy sniping on top of the wall. I was always like "dumb COD noobs why is he playing for kills? :mad: " One time I ended up on top of the wall with him as I was going through my usual shenanigans and I realized how much death he was dealing out.
Killing the enemy always helps. So stop being so mad at your teammates for not doing the objective and take advantage of having a dedicated destroyer of enemies so you can do the objective.
