Can you shoot through objects like walls and glass and the like?

(BiigDaddyDellta) #3

Heres the video at 1:57 the guy starts shooting poeple behind a board and he starts shooting through the board and it looks like hes still getting hitmarkers, correct me if im wrong because i’m not 100% sure if thats not just Delay from his previous shots.

(0xT1) #5

To me it looks like the weapon spread hit him over the railing

(BioSnark) #6

A splash damage employee, Rahdo, I believe, said no.

(Mustang) #7

We have been told no all the way through
Although the video .TehTank. linked would appear to show otherwise
I hope it isn’t in and that this texture has deliberately been given a solid=false property

(A.i) #8

I thought it was weird that in the latest video a guy was hiding behind a glass door and enemy was not shooting at him…

Found it:

Q: How hard would you say it is to kill another player in Brink? Is there bullet penetration?

A: Keeping in mind that damage is something we’re constantly tuning, in our current play-testing setup it takes around half a clip to take down an enemy if they’re not evading, with headshots doing extra damage on top of that. This is before potential weapon damage buffs and health buffs are taken into account. Brink does not use any bullet penetration for players or the environment.
