Well, I rage a lot in game on the chat box where I start complaining especially when I die of some sort of lag or glitch (it’s beta, duh) lol. But honestly this is still a really nice community compared to other FPS community. I really wish it could stay positive like the Warframe community. I’ve really never seen a nicer community than Warframe, and I hope Dirty Bomb is the one.

See, this is why I keep bringing up community driven servers. I’m so tired of joining games at this point, knowing that chances are 90% of the server won’t speak, ever, or that teamwork will be nonexistent, or that there are players who just don’t care.

With the current quick play deal, the majority of players are faceless nobodies who have no obligation to play well, be nice, or even try - and it gets incredibly boring going game after game with players who clearly won’t be around in a few weeks.

I hope for an actual community to play with, not just to chat with on forums. I don’t always have time for PuGs, and half the time when I am free no one is about to play them. I want to know people, I want to get better against people I know, and I don’t want to be stuck stomping pubs for the rest of this game’s lifespan like in TF2.

It’s amazing how much a group of people you actually know can change a game from being a chore to enjoy after a game or two to something fun.

I think we all do once in a while, especially against lag. But we will definitely be the best damn community out there at this rate, we owe it not only to ourselves, but our amazing devs and moderators!

We absolutely need a better in-game community, problem is that likely cannot happen as a majority of Dirty Bomb players do not even come on the forums, they only see the others who are being rude and disruptive and think that is what our community is… and not… well this.

The community on the forums here are nice, but the players in game are kinda…well, dicks.

Like some people calling you shit because you killed most of their team with a certain merc, or saying their team sucks when they have the lowest score and contributed nothing to the game. Or my favorite, team mates who tell me to shut up and let them play, when they constantly plant bombs, while someone else is planting, or don’t revive, AS A MEDIC.

I’m not saying everyone is like this…but man oh man these kinds of players piss me off.

Problem is(And this is mainly seen in public servers) we simply cannot force people to play in a cooperative manner, they will play the game as they see fit. Someone who plays Aura without ever reviving and using their healing station for themselves is of course annoying, but it only makes them feel worse in the end because they will lose that round and blame their team most likely. Someone who only plays Vassili that gets the top of the scoreboard can be easily just as useless, it’s not about the quantity of kills, it’s about the quality(What I mean by that is how effective is your killing for your team? Did it stop them from completing the objective or were you just taking out enemies from a distance?).

This will never change, it’s the general gamer mentality sadly, but we can always try to improve it.
