Third party program detection is broken and unfair

Hello Community,
So I had a suspension for 2 days because “Third party software” was detected when i started the game. This software was a HOSTING TOOL (Visual Custom Kick) for Warcraft 3, an entirely harmless program for anything else BUT Warcraft 3. Yup, that just netted me a suspension and probably a strike. Support being support, giving me copypasted answers that basically tell me “i dont care, our program is flawless, too bad for you”. This is NOT how this should work. I was told nowhere that said program would cause suspensions and strikes, only when it already happened. And I really shouldnt be forced to turn everything off prior to playing Dirty Bomb because some anti-cheat program COULD detect it as harmful software. Yes, this might be “B-Beta”, but its open beta. I still see cheaters ingame, that are allowed to run rampant, while i get suspended for this. I asked for a removal of the strike, but was told “Nope, cant do that, our program detected third party software so its gotta be harmful, too bad AGAIN”.

Now i ask you guys, is this how its supposed to go?

The antihack software is used in many other games. So you have to know it’s going to have a database spanning those games. And you have to see Xigncode starting up in the bottom right. And you have to know that this is how antihack software works - it checks for flagged programs and then suspends/bans you. This can’t be your first rodeo, considering you use VCK.

Now I’m also inclined to believe that you’re probably not telling the truth from the many, many other times I’ve seen people complain about antihack or a chat ban due to behavior only to find out they were actually hacking or an enormous prick to players.

It likely won’t be changing. It’s common sense to turn off third party programs for games that could be flagged.

I never had problems with VCK in my what, 3 years of using it? Given, i never played that many f2p shooters before, so i wouldnt know.

Also how come VCK is flagged? How does it do anything in games like this?

No idea what VCK is. After Googling it, it seems to be a another injector-type of program. Which, 9/10, are banned in most games. Not to mention it adds functionality like kicking people in games where non-hosting player are not to have such power in the first place.

EDIT: Did further researching and found that it is indeed a hack.

YOU HACKER!

I am only able to kick players when I am the host of my OWN lobby. Warcraft 3 doesnt have a problem with that.
