yea. it was mentioned here. the devs cheat a lot for demo recording.

i see where splash damage tries to go with this story driven mp. definetely a cool atmosphere at the end. not sure if i like the camera though. i would like it more if you stay in first person all the time, just like in the first of the three objective movies, where the helicopter flies by. of course that would spoil the blue glowing thingi, because you could look right into the container.

i already see people hitting escape the second time they play the map, to skip the cinematic.

hm, but well, lets see how it turns out. i wouldnt say im disapointed because of the cinematic, but i like storytelling the oldschool half-life way more. let the story tell itself, play it, be in it. not beeing filmed. dont know how to describe it better, but you probably know what i mean.
