Unless Splash Damage condones the type of behavior and racial slurs demonstrated in the below, there really should be a way to report problem players inside a match. Also, vote kick only seems to work for people on your side, so if someone is bring toxic behavior into a match there is no way to deal with it if they are also not on your team.
There needs to be an ingame report system.

You know mute does work for both teams though right? If you don’t like what someone’s saying just ignore it with mute.

I do agree that there should be an in-game report system at some point. But right now I’d wager they will be concentrating in more important feature additions and bug fixes to round out the game. Then something like a report system could be added. So, yeah, best you can do is just deal with it and hope that SD maybe throws in an ignore system that ignores everything from a player.

Sorry but I don’t agree that strongly with the “ignore it” solution. If ignoring it worked wouldn’t we have less trolls? And yet there seems to more trolls on the internet than there were ten years ago.

No, it works just fine, people just don’t actually ignore them and choose to take the bait.
