The Underground map

The map is extremely fun just like the other maps.

The only problem I have seen in public servers for objective mode is that its highly favored for the defenders. For the attackers to plant the bomb inside the hut, people can just sit on top of the roof and grenade through the hole blasting the whole room and anyone inside of it.

I’m not saying its impossible to win, but it definitely feels like there is a bigger advantage to defenders on this map regardless of the teams. I don’t know if the room needs to be bigger or what exact changes could be made to make this more competitive but this is my opinion on it.

What do you guys think? Any issues you have had?

I don’t see your point. The defenders can sit on top of the objective, but so can the attackers. And the attackers have 2 different ways to get up whereas the defenders have 2. I actually think that the map is biased towards the attackers, due to their wide variety of vantage points and ways to maintain distance and the high ground which are easier to access when attacking. Of course all maps should be this way, because the game’s mechanics work in favour of the defenders and the map bias counterbalances this.

Overall Underground is the least defender biased map of them all by far and I don’t know why you’re complaining about it rather than Trainyard, arguably the most defender biased map of them all (Bridge is certainly a competitor, as is Chapel).

Only issue I have with Underground is how awful the last point can play, otherwise it’s probably one of my favourite maps.

the hole works very well for attackers too. Yesterday i went up lift, jumped onto roof dropped through and planted c4 very easily.
