The trouble of Nexon and registration

Literally wasted 50 minutes trying to register and find the Dirtybomb/Extraction launcher without any luck. If you guys wanna make it big you need to move away from companies like Nexon because the user base just isn’t there. At least not for Europe/North America. Why not a closed beta on steam for the guys who backed your game? Worked quite well for the guys at Unknown Worlds Entertainment and you don’t have the troubles of going through a billion website pages trying to register, get your CD key and end up on a impossible website that will not allow you to enter the CD key.

I really like the movement and gun play of the game (tried with your old launcher that actually worked)

Hopefully your plan is to get more publishers or else I’m afraid the game will be forgotten before it’s even launched.

considering nexon has 2 of the highest profiting games in history, you cant say they dont have a user base, but nobody will sit here and defend them at all :stuck_out_tongue:

The Nexon community team and SD’s core dev members are top tier friendly. I’ve got nothing negative to say about either company.

Yep. And they were quick and helpful.

Their database for help for XT is non-existent.

You can’t find a link for the launcher because its a beta launcher. It is not currently the default way to launch other games just XT.

The Xt website is down while it is being revamped, and I am sure it will have a link to the launcher when it comes back up.

You can forget about this being published, by anyone but Nexon the contracts were signed, we all have to live with it.

Pretzl, why don’t you use your forum name in game, I am guessing its because you are acting like a douche in game and don’t want people to know its you.
Your not the Sd fun manager, so quit trying to ruin every one else time in game, and leave the CC guys alone.

I use a random in game name because there are so many complete ****s who seem to think that because I have original thoughts and critique the direction this game is currently going and actually GIVE FEEDBACK with comprehensive arguments detailing WHY things are good and bad that I am somehow the enemy of everyone. ^^

When I used my forum name in game servers would empty because “oh this guy is here ffffffffff”.

I’m not a bad guy, I’m just a really good game tester.

But hey, whatever. People will start getting banned for behavior soon enough. With or without my help.

Never had a problem with registering or downloading the launcher. Just follow the information in the emails.

As for the userbase - 2 in the top 6 isn’t bad at all…

Combat Arms was the biggest f2p shooter around for a very long time, I believe. It’s still running and they still have War Rock running too, so I’d say they definitely have a user base and are perfectly capable of keeping a game going.

That said, I’ve seen some horrendous decision making by them in different games and I’m not exactly a fan so I guess all we can do is wait and see.

so an old friend of mine, who hasnt played since alpha, was trying to figure out how to play. he thought it was still dirty bomb ectect. now he cant even find the launcher, nor did his account get automatically mitigated. more nexon failure, or just inconvenience?

he put in a support ticket, but i have zero hope of that accomplishing anything, hence this post.
