The Timik on paper has more DPS. But due to the predictable nature of the m4 and it’s overall accuracy your real world DPS is a decent amount higher consistently. I am 100% for making the Timik more like the CS AK with a slower RoF, higher damage and more recoil. Basically, the rifle version of Fragger’s K121.

What if they un-buffed the accuracy but raised damage by 1? Going from 14 to 15 would actually mean 1 less shot in many occasions, giving you a trade-off from the M4’s accuracy.

Yeah that sounds good, or they could also slightly increase it’s RoF

i stressed a clear point so many times to devs that timik needed a damage increase over m4 to compensate for it’s recoil and accuracy but they still didn’t change … I don’t know why … I think devs can find a balancing point in real life since m4 is a gun with much less recoil and more accuracy and rate of fire than ak series rifles or timik in this case and ak has a higher damage and recoil and has lower accuracy than m4 . so i think devs can find a solution in there make timik and m4 both some what variable choice of assault rifles

not to mention the fact that DPS is calculated in terms where accuracy value of the user is 100% to the target it is being fired at so over all dps will be much lower than 128 in the spread sheet and m4 could have a higher DPS of about 130 in game .

The Fine tuning buffs were nice but not enough.

Yes, I do know the weapon has a slightly higher RoF and a slightly faster reload speed when compared to the M4, but it’s worse in every other category (The last fine tuning update helped but it was not enough).

Right now, as long as it gets balanced for use by Skyhammer it doesn’t need to be changed any more if its fine for him. But when the new merks Stoker and Thunder eventually come out, the timik should be changed accordingly.

Well but still if you look at the m4 and the timik loadouts for sky the m92 elite rifleman still got more usefull augments

Well you’re gonne hear about it alot more because 2 of the upcoming Merc will have it, sad part is that the inevitable “omg timik sukz” threads bound to happen after the release of those mercs could’ve been avoided if the weapon was changed significantly enough.

I will admit that it is a very competent weapon in CQC but past that mid range it’s…tough.
